Distressed investing is the cornerstone of Prometheus. Prometheus looks into mispriced, catalyst-driven opportunities across the capital structure. In particular, Prometheus focuses on opportunities arising from weak credit agreements, high leverage, market overreactions, and immediate liquidity needs.

Even in the public markets, equities are not always efficient. Prometheus looks for passive equity investments that don’t price in event-driven, operational or financial value. In particular, our research focuses on opportunistic M&A and market-differentiating assets.

While less than the two aforementioned categories, Prometheus also views global macro factors as potential investment opportunities. Examples include stressed sovereign bonds, GDP warrants, commodities, and foreign exchange swaps.
